my name is Dirk Blankenhaus. I am skilled programmer working as a consultant since 2005. I provide my clients with information about search engines and online marketing solutions. Programming is one of my favorite hobbies and so I did develop many modules like newsletter-management, contact-management, category and shop-management and some more. I often thought about if it is really necessary. There are so many cms availaible but most of the time I build up a new site I don’t need all their features and modules included. Also it is not always possible to disable and delete single modules. Thats why I did development myself and build up own unique modules doing exactly what I want.

As I am developing and sleeping and thinking I thought about an own short url service. Quick, reliable and processing monster urls up to more than thousands of characters.  So I can feature twitter links and long urls that might break in emails. It is not just interesting to develop and program and learn with that project.  Maybe it can be an compromise to  something you are not so happy with. Give it a try!
